The Nuggets came back from a 15-point halftime deficit to take down the Los Angeles Lakers 113-111 in Game Four of the Western Conference Finals at Crypto-Dot-Com Arena. Nikola Jokic [[ yo-kitch ]] set an NBA record with his eighth triple-double of the postseason after totaling 30 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists to lead Denver to the 4-0 series sweep. LeBron James paced LA with 40 points, 10 boards and nine assists in the losing effort. The Nuggets advance to face either the Miami Heat or Boston Celtics in the Finals. Miami will host Boston for Game Four of the Eastern Conference Finals tonight with a chance to sweep.

(Undated) — Carmelo Anthony is retiring from basketball. The 38-year-old forward made the announcement on social media on Monday. Anthony was drafted by the Denver Nuggets third overall in 2003 and eventually would be traded to the New York Knicks in 2011. Anthony would go on to play for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Portland Trailblazers and the Los Angeles Lakers. The 10-time All-Star finished as the ninth overall scorer in NBA history.

(Milwaukee, WI) — The Bucks are setting up several interviews with potential coaching candidates. ESPN reports Nick Nurse, Kenny Atkinson and Adrian Griffin are all meeting with Milwaukee this week. Nurse was recently let go by the Toronto Raptors and is also considered a top candidate for the Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers. Atkinson is an associate head coach with the Golden State Warriors while Griffin is an assistant with the Raptors. The Bucks are looking for a replacement for Mike Budenholzer, who was fired after losing to the Heat in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
