>>Reds Walk Off Against Rangers For Sweep

(Cincinnati, OH)  — The Reds completed the sweep against the Rangers following a 5-3, walk off victory from Cincinnati.  The score was tied at three heading into the bottom of the ninth until Nick Senzel crushed the game winning, two-run home run.  Lucas Sims was credited with the win after pitching a scoreless inning in relief.  Cincinnati improved to 10-and-15 and is fourth in the NL Central.  The team heads to Oakland tomorrow for a three-game set.

>Cardinals Drop Series To Giants

(San Francisco, CA)  —  The Cardinals are riding a three-game losing streak following a 7-3 loss to the Giants in San Francisco.  Steven Matz lasted just four innings during his no-decision before Jordan Hicks gave up the lead for good to fall to 0-and-2.  Paul Goldschmidt went four-for-five with two home runs and a pair of RBI.  St. Louis is in last place in the NL Central at 9-and-16.  The Cardinals will try to avoid being swept when they send Miles Mikolas to the mound against San Francisco this afternoon.

>>Braves Defeat Marlins

(Atlanta, GA)  —  The Braves defeated the Marlins for the third straight day.  Atlanta triumphed over Miami 6-4 at Truist Field in a come-from-behind win.  Vaughn Grissom drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of a four-run eighth inning by the Braves.  Grissom recorded a team-high two RBI, while Ronald Acuna Jr. and Matt Olson both homered in the win.  Reliever Michael Tonkin earned the win after two-and-two-thirds scoreless innings, while A.J. Minter recorded his fifth save of the year.  The Braves sit atop the NL East at 17-and-8.  They will close out a four-game series against Miami this afternoon with right-hander Kyle Wright getting the start.
