A man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly paying a tow truck service to bring him a car that wasn’t his.
The arrest citation for 21-year old Savion Martin of Clarksville says he used the tow service to have a 1995 Lexus removed from the driveway of a home in the 300 block of Country Club Lane.
HPD was able to work with the business to determine it was taken to a home on Colonial Terrace and while Martin reportedly claimed he been working with the owner to purchase the car, the victim said he didn’t know Martin.
The car had been sitting in the driveway on Country Club for years, according to the report.
Martin was arrested and charged with felony auto theft.
