Two men from Christian and Trigg County were sentenced this week in federal court.
Thirty-nine-year-old Buddy Chambless of Hopkinsville was sentenced to five and a half years in federal prison followed by a four-year term of supervised release for distributing more than 50 grams of a methamphetamine mixture and for possessing more than a dozen firearms after having previously been convicted of a felony offense.
Meanwhile, 41-year old Chanz Outing of Cadiz was sentenced to three years and four months in federal prison followed by a three-year term of supervised release for possessing a firearm after having been previously convicted of a felony offense and possessing the firearm in violation of the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record.
There is no parole in the federal prison system.
