An investigation on Wooldridge Road Saturday night led to a local man being arrested for allegedly shooting at a woman as she tried to drive away after being assaulted.
The arrest citation from Hopkinsville police for 26-year old Keenan Jordan of Hopkinsville says he allegedly pushed the female victim off the porch of an apartment in the 100 block of Wooldridge just after 8 p.m.
The victim said he also grabbed and ripped her shirt and that following the physical altercation, Jordan shot a gun at her as he she drove away—though neither the victim nor her car were hit by the gunfire.
HPD seized a 9mm handgun from Jordan and arrested him on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
