All MLB Honors Handed Out

>>Braves’ Fried Named To All-MLB Second Team

(Undated)  — Braves starting pitcher Max Fried has been named to the All-MLB Second Team.  The 28-year-old southpaw made his first All Star game this past season.  He posted a 14-and-7 record with a 2.48 ERA in his sixth season in the Majors.  Fried is not due for unrestricted free agency until 2025.

(St. Louis, MO)  — Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is still raking in awards.  The National League MVP was named to the All-MLB First Team yesterday.  The 35-year-old won the award on the four-year anniversary of the trade that sent him from Arizona to St. Louis.  Goldschmidt led the Senior Circuit with a .982 O-P-S, and he hit .317 with 35 home runs and 115 RBI in 2022.
