If you encounter any problems on your Thanksgiving travel journey this week, they’re not likely to be weather-related.
Keith Cooley with the National Weather Service in Paducah says there’s a chance the area could see a little rain Thanksgiving Day, but even that shouldn’t be a major event.
Any rain would be appreciated in the area, as Western Kentucky remains in drought status.
Temperatures will warm to about normal conditions by the end of the week and will be much more pleasant for the holiday.
There are currently no chances for severe weather or wintry precipitation in the forecast.
