Cards Close Out Home Schedule versus NC State
The University of Louisville closes out the 2022 home schedule with a visit from NC State on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. prior to the game, head coach Scott Satterfield will say farewell to 19 seniors who have combined to play in 583 games during the course of their careers.
Racers Travel to Cape Girardeau for Season Finale
Winners of each of its last two games, the Murray State football team travels to Cape Girardeau Saturday for its 2022 season finale against 15th-ranked Southeast Missouri. Kick-off from Houck Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Governors roll into regular-season finale with No. 8 Crimson Tide
Austin Peay State University’s football team rolls into its regular-season finale when it takes on No. 8 Alabama at 11 a.m., Saturday, at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Governors are coming off a 31-14 win at Kennesaw State and closed the FCS portion of their schedule with back-to-back ASUN Conference wins on the road. Austin Peay finished its ASUN Conference schedule at 3-2 and is still in play for the ASUN-WAC Automatic Qualifier (AQ) for the FCS Playoffs. If Jacksonville State beats Central Arkansas and Eastern Kentucky beats Kennesaw State, the Governors, Bears, and Colonels would be in a three-way tie for AQ comparison against the WAC Champion – which would be the winner of the game between Abilene Christian and Stephen F. Austin on Saturday. The three-way tie between Austin Peay, Central Arkansas, and Eastern Kentucky would be broken by the team with the highest ranking in the ASUN-WAC Power Ranking.
