A Muhlenberg County teen was killed Friday afternoon in a single vehicle accident in Drakesboro.
Kentucky State Police say 19-year old Austin Landrum of Rockport was eastbound on P and M Haul Road when he lost control of his SUV and went off the shoulder, overturning down an embankment.
His passenger, 18-year old Levi Ruggles of Bremen, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident also started a fire that caused substantial property damage to the immediate and surrounding areas near the TVA Paradise Fossil Plant.
