Christian County Democrats held their annual Ned Breathitt Dinner Saturday night at Pioneers, Inc.
Longtime local Democrat Gertrude Bullock was the winner of this year’s Ned Brethitt Award, which is the highest honor presented each year.
Local Democrats on the ballot and representatives of the party from across the state were on hand, including Kentucky Democratic Party Chairman Colmon Elridge, who was the keynote speaker.
The annual event is held in honor of former Governor Ned Breathitt, who was a Hopkinsville native.
