>>Tennessee Earns Signature Victory Over Florida, Cracks Top 10

(Knoxville, TN)  — The Vols are celebrating a signature, 38-33 victory over the Gators in Knoxville.  Hendon Hooker completed 22-of-28 passes for 349 yards and two touchdowns.  The Q-B also rushed for 112 yards and a score.  Bru McCoy caught five passes for 102 yards and a touchdown as both teams combined for nearly 12-hundred yards of total offense.  Tennessee is now ranked ninth in the latest Coaches Poll.  The Vols will take on L-S-U in Baton Rouge a week from Saturday.

(Lexington, KY)  — The Wildcats, Cardinals and Tigers each won their college football matchups over the weekend while the Commodores struggled against Alabama.  Kentucky improved to 4-and-0 after beating Northern Illinois in Lexington 31-23.  The Wildcats are now ranked eighth in the latest Coaches Poll.  Louisville dispatched South Florida 41-3 and is now 2-and-2 on the season while Memphis improved to 3-and-1 after winning against North Texas 44-34.  The Crimson Tide had no issues dealing with Vanderbilt as the number-two ranked team in the nation handed the Commodores a 55-3 loss.  Vandy is now 3-and-2 on the year.
