>>Titans Concerned Taylor Lewan May Miss Season

(Nashville, TN)  — The Titans are concerned they may have lost their starting left tackle for the rest of the season.  Taylor Lewan was carted off the field after suffering a knee injury during the team’s 41-7 loss to the Bills in Orchard Park.  A-to-Z Sport’s Buck Reising says those who are close to the situation believe Lewan is likely done for the season.  Head coach Mike Vrabel said the veteran is still being evaluated.

>>Bills Player Suspended For Hitting Titans’ Coach

(Orchard Park, NY)  — The N-F-L is disciplining a Buffalo Bills player for striking a Tennessee Titans coach.  The league says offensive lineman Bobby Hart has been suspended for one game after taking a swing at a Titans player, only to hit a coach instead.  The N-F-L says Hart confronted a player near the end zone tunnel, swung at him with a closed fist and struck the head of a Tennessee coach.  Hart is appealing the suspension.

>>Seven Former Titans Among Initial 2023 Nominees

(Canton, OH)  — There are more than 100 Modern-Era players listed as nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2023.  The list of candidates will be trimmed down to 25 semi-finalists in November, and down to 15 finalists in January.  The Titans are well represented with seven former players among the nominees.  The list is headlined by legendary running backs Eddie George and Chris Johnson.  They join quarterback Steve McNair, receivers Derrick Mason and Andre Johnson, fullback Lorenzo Neal and kicker Gary Anderson.

>>Bengals Send Six Candidates To Canton Voting

(Canton, OH)  — Cincinnati is sending six former players to be considered for Hall of Fame induction.  Fifteen finalists from all N-F-L teams will be chosen in January.  The Bengals list is headlined by offensive lineman Willie Anderson who was a finalist in last year’s voting.  He joins receiver Chad Johnson, running back Corey Dillon, linebackers James Harrison and Takeo Spikes and defensive end Justin Smith.  The list of nearly 130 candidates will be trimmed down to 25 in November.
