No. 13 Kentucky Hosts No. 3 Louisville on ESPN Wednesday Night

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 13 Kentucky Volleyball team will play host to No. 3 Louisville in the annual battle of Kentucky on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. Fans should note the change in the start time, as the match was moved up an hour from 8 p.m. ET to 7 p.m. ET to accommodate ESPN televising the match.

Hilltoppers Down Lady Vols in Three

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The No. 21 Hilltopper Volleyball team swept the Tennessee Lady Volunteers, 3-0 for the program’s first win over the UTK program and  47th Power Five win in the Hudson era. A heavy-blocking match up in Knoxville, the Tops held their SEC opponent to a .091 hitting clip, averaging four blocks a set inside Thompson-Boling Arena.

(Lexington, KY)  — Kentucky is continuing to work out their basketball schedule for the upcoming season.  School officials announced yesterday the Wildcats will host Yale on December 10th.  The schools have played just one time in their history, with the only matchup dating back to 1961.  Kentucky beat the Bulldogs 79-58 in that game.

>>Vanderbilt Gets Commitment From Three-Star Basketball Prospect

(Nashville, TN)  — Vanderbilt is getting a commitment from a three-star basketball prospect.  Carter Lang announced Monday he’ll be joining the Commodores for the 2023 season.  The six-foot-nine center is the 159th ranked player in the nation according to 24-7 Sports.  The Virginia native is the third Vanderbilt commitment for the 2023 season.
