NatureFest returns to Jeffers’ Bend Environmental Center this Saturday, where attendees will be able to learn and laugh while enjoying a plethora of activities and events.
It will run from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and Robin Charles with the Jeffers’ Bend Steering Committee says they’ll have the usual favorites available—the soil tunnel, canoeing and more—along with some new activities.
Linda Wood with the committee says there will also be a play starting at about 4:15 p.m. for folks to enjoy.
They say there will be door prizes for those who fill out their travel cards, and they’re bringing back the poster contest this year.
Admission into Jeffers’ Bend is $10 per car, while first responders and active-duty military getting in free upon showing an ID. Advance ticket sales are also available at the Boys and Girls Club, Hopkinsville Municipal Building, Christian County Ag. Extension Office, Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority and the Housing Authority of Hopkinsville.
