>>Cincy Makes Roster Tweaks Ahead Of Week One Matchup

(Cincinnati, OH)  — Cincinnati is making some last-minute roster adjustments ahead of their week on matchup against the Steelers.  The team waived cornerback Allan George and released tight end Thaddeus Moss from the practice squad yesterday.  George signed as an undrafted free agent at the start of minicamp while Moss joined the team off waivers last year.  The moves will allow the team to activate Jessie Bates.

 

>>Bengals Announce Team Captains

(Cincinnati, OH)  — The Bengals are announcing their team captains for this season.  Coach Zac Taylor says Joe Burrow, Joe Mixon and newcomer Ted Karras will get the “C” on offense.  Vonn Bell, Sam Hubbard and D-J Reader were named captains on the defensive side.  The coaching staff allows the players to vote for captains before the start of each season.

 

>>Titans’ Veteran Comments on Landry Loss

(Nashville, TN)  — A veteran on the Titans’ defense is commenting on the loss of Harold Landry.  Kevin Byard talked to reporters yesterday and said it was tough watching the edge rusher go through a season-ending injury, especially before it even starts.  Byard went on to say, “we always preach here ‘next man mentality,’ but it’s a reality and it’s going to be tested right now.”  The Titans open their season Sunday afternoon when they host the Giants.
