A Cadiz man who was recently arrested following a pursuit in Calloway County, is facing charges of rape and sodomy in Trigg County.
That’s according to the Kentucky State Police news release, which says that on August 29 troopers were made aware by the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office of alleged sexual contact between an adult male and a 16-year-old female victim.
KSP began to investigate, which resulted in five counts of third-degree rape and five counts of third-degree sodomy being brought against 61-year-old Charles Sikes of Cadiz. He is alleged to have had sexual contact with the victim beginning in June of this year.
Sikes is lodged in the Calloway County Jail, after leading deputies there on a vehicle pursuit the same day the sexual allegations were reported to law enforcement.
