Joy Closet set to talk of visions, goals for the future at dinner

Joy Closet is striving to help foster families and children in the community, and they’ll be hosting a dinner next week to cement their goals and visions for the future of the program.

Organizer Heather Gray appeared on WHOP Wednesday morning and says they’ve already made a big impact in the community for foster families—they’re focused on providing items that help care for the child and support the families.

She says they’re happy to accept donations of clothing and toys, and the community has been very generous.

Gray says at the upcoming dinner, they will talk about how they plan to expand the Joy Closet and talk about the three visions of their mission.

The dinner will take place next Tuesday at New Work Fellowship starting at 6 p.m. and while a ticket is not required, people are asked to RSVP by calling 270-632-1232.
