>Cardinals Split With Blue Jays

(Toronto, Ontario)  —  The Cardinals are pulling off a split in their two-game set after topping the Blue Jays 6-1 in Toronto.  Adam Wainwright was credited with the win after holding the Blue Jays to one run over seven innings pitched.  Albert Pujols and Nolan Gorman each hit a home run in the fifth inning for the Cards.

>>Big Inning Propels Reds Past Marlins In 5-3 Win

(Cincinnati, OH)  —  A big first inning helped propel the Reds past the Marlins in their 5-3 victory.  Kyle Farmer and Donovan Solano each hit doubles to drive in three runs while Matt Reynolds added a fourth off a base-hit.

>>Braves Drop Finale In Philadelphia

(Philadelphia, PA)  —  The Braves dropped the rubber match of their series with the Phillies 7-2 in Philadelphia.  Charlie Morton was charged with the loss after allowing five runs, four of them earned, over five innings pitched.  Matt Olson provided all of the offense for Atlanta with a two-run home run in the sixth inning.
