Friday at the fair features corn hole, truck and tractor pulls

Corn hole and truck and tractor pulls will highlight Friday activities at the Western Kentucky State Fair.

Thursday’s attendance was 4,274, over double last year’s 1,977 Thursday number.

Gates open at 4:30 and rides open at 5 with another $20 armband night.

A corn hole tournament begins at 7 in the air-conditioned convention center and there will be a pedal pull competition in front of the building at 6.

The Mid South Truck and Tractor Pulls always draws a large crowd to the grandstand and Tony Meacham with the Fair Board says this year’s event that begins at 7 p.m. should be no different.
