CCHD reports 226 new COVID cases in 10 days

There continues to be an uptick in COVID-19 cases in Christian County, but the rise isn’t a dramatic spike that was seen earlier in the pandemic.

There were 226 new cases between June 17 and 27, bringing the active case count to 312, according to the Christian County Health Department.

Forty-four of those are between the ages of zero and 21, 171 are 22 to 59, 85 are between 60 and 84 and only 12 of the cases are 85 or older.

Christian County’s pandemic death toll remains at 200.
