The Hoppers slide continues with 12 to 9 loss at Fulton

The Hoptown Hoppers lost for the 4th straight time last night at Fulton 12 to 9.

The Hoppers took an early lead in the second inning with Ronald Brown hitting a solo homerun.

After Hoptown scored three runs in the top of the seventh, Fulton answered with three of their own. Hoptown scored when Joshua Rodriguez homered on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs. Fulton  then answered when Brooks Cooner homered on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs and Ryan Callahan drew a walk, scoring one run.

Garrett Blevins took the loss for The Hoppers.

The Hoppers had ten hits. Rodriguez and Sean Sullivan each managed multiple hits for The Hoppers. Rodriguez went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Hoptown in hits. Hoptown didn’t commit a single error.
