The Owensboro RiverDawgs took the lead late and defeated The Hoptown Hoppers 16-14 on Wednesday night. The game was tied at 14 with Owensboro RiverDawgs batting in the bottom of the eighth when EJ Clark singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
The Hoppers had two home runs on the night. Sean Sullivan went deep in the second inning. Joshua Rodriguez put one out in the third inning.
Hoptown totaled 18 hits in the game.
