Unemployment fell slightly from April to May in Kentucky.
Kentucky’s seasonally adjusted preliminary May unemployment rate was 3.8 percent, down a tenth of a point from 3.9 percent in April and down nine tenths from 4.7 percent recorded for the state a year ago.
The U.S. seasonally adjusted jobless rate for May was 3.6 percent, which was unchanged from April 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
