Blake Shelton will serve as this year’s grand marshal of the 106th running of the Indianapolis 500. IMS President J. Douglas Boles said that Shelton’s winning energy will be a perfect fit for the intensity of “The Greatest Spectacle of Racing.” The race is scheduled for this Sunday.

The Coca-Cola 600 will take place at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday. It’s the longest race of the season and will put racing’s finest to the test. Ryan Blaney enters the race with plenty of momentum and money after last week’s win at the NASCAR All-Star Race. Blaney won a million dollars by taking home the win.
