Four people were injured in accidents on I-24 in Christian County Thursday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Mark Nichols says 31-year old Kristine Batey of Clarksville was westbound near the 84 mile-marker when she hydroplaned on the wet pavement, hit a guard rail and her vehicle overturned onto its side.
Batey and two juvenile passengers were taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
Another accident happened near the 86 mile-marker a few minutes later when a van rear-ended a tractor-trailer and burst into flames. The driver of the van was taken by ambulance to Tennova Health Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
A third accident occurred near the 89 mile-marker and there were no injuries in that crash.
