CCPS releases details on graduation plan in case of inclement weather

The Christian County Public Schools System has released information about what will happen with the high school graduation ceremonies Friday afternoon should inclement weather put a damper on the celebrations.

According to a news release, in case of delay graduates and families will be notified of any delay in start times to the ceremonies and delays will typically be less than 30 minutes and would allow the ceremony to continue after the threat of weather, lightning or storms has passed.

In case of relocation to school graduates and families will be notified of the move from the Stadium of Champions to the student’s respective school. Upon moving indoors, the ceremony will become a ticketed event. Graduates were issued eight tickets during practice and a ticket will be required by each person wishing to attend.

Gates will open to the public at the stadium one hour prior to the scheduled ceremony. No tickets are needed for the ceremonies at the Stadium of Champions. A link to the planned live stream of each ceremony is posted on the district webpage
