A rainy middle of the week is expected to give way to a sunny and dry Memorial Day weekend as a more summer-like pattern is expected to move in.
Chris Noles with the National Weather Service in Paducah said during this week’s conference call that the southern Pennyrile Region can expect an inch and a half to two inches of rain between Tuesday night and Thursday night.
The holiday weekend should be dry and Noles says temperatures should be approaching 90 by early next week.
There is a marginal risk for severe storms on Wednesday, but a major outbreak of severe weather is not expected.
