Several candidates have filed their papers to run for city and school board elections in Todd County as the non-partisan deadline approaches.
Incumbent Elkton City Council members Frank McReynolds, Danny Laster, Doug Gibson and David Powell have all filed for another term and John Rice is seeking one of the six seats.
Arthur Greens is the only candidate to have filed for mayor of Elkton.
Trenton City Commission members Joyce Edwards and Wayne Johnson are seeking another term and Guthrie Councilman Chad Johnson has filed for re-election.
As previously reported, there is a three-way race for Guthrie mayor between incumbent Jimmy Covington, former mayor Scott Marshall and Councilman Zollie Rose.
District 5 Todd County School Board Member James Todd Thomas has filed for re-election and is currently unopposed.
The deadline to file for non-partisan races in Kentucky is June 7 at 4 p.m.
