Penick wins another term as Todd Co. jailer, Oliver wins Todd Fiscal Court race

Todd County Jailer Jeff Penick won re-election in a three-way Republican primary.

He defeated Tonya Schultz and Elkton Police Sgt. Rodney Moberly by wide margins to earn a second term and says making improvements to the jail facility would make it safer for the staff and inmates and that’ll be a priority the next four years.

Meanwhile, Henry Boogie Oliver will fill the District 4 Todd Fiscal Court seat currently held by a retiring Brent Spurlin, as Oliver defeated former jailer Greg Allen by 61 votes.
