Christian County Sheriff Tyler DeArmond will serve in that capacity for another four years.
He defeated Oak Grove Police Officer Adam Vanderkolk in a Republican primary by 2,400 votes and says he will continue to foster a strong relationship between the department and the community.
DeArmond also extended his thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Calloway County Sheriff’s Deputy Jody Cash, who was fatally shot outside the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office Monday afternoon.
