Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky is ripping Democratic calls for federal student loan forgiveness.
Speaking on the Senate floor, he called it “student loan socialism.”
He said it would be deeply unfair to people who have made tough sacrifices to pay off their loans.
