Two people were found dead in Lake Barkley near a capsized boat in Stewart County, Tennessee early Tuesday morning.
The Stewart County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a capsized boat in the Cumberland City Steam Plant area around 3:30 a.m. and found the bodies of two victims.
Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency is investigating the incident and the names of the victims have not been released.
Stewart County Fire and Rescue and the Cumberland City police chief also responded and assisted at the scene.
