Motorcyclist flown to Nashville hospital after Princeton accident

A vehicle versus motorcycle accident Thursday in Princeton sent the biker to a Nashville hospital.

Princeton police investigated and say 71-year old Sharon Oliver of Princeton was eastbound on US 62 and attempting to turn left into Walmart when she drove into the path of a westbound motorcycle operated by 57-year old Timothy Sims of Princeton.

Oliver told police she didn’t see Sims and struck his motorcycle.

Sims sustained a severe injury to his left leg and was taken first to Caldwell County Hospital and then flown by Air Evac to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
