University Heights played a pair of games in the 2nd Region All A Classic Tuesday at Chris Simmons Field. The Blazers rallied for a 6-5 win in the semifinals over Crittenden County, then were pounded by Lyon County 16-0 in three innings in the final. University Heights is now 8-8 on the season.
Elsewhere: Todd Central edged Franklin Simpson 1-0, Logan County blanked Russellville 15-0 in 3 innings, Union County rocked Trigg County 14-4 in 5 innings, Madisonville eased by Caldwell County 3-2 and Dawson Springs topped Hopkins Central 9-6.
