Preparations are underway for the return of Christian County Project Graduation and there’s still a need for volunteers and donations.
Shawna Johnson is this year’s Project Graduation coordinator and appeared Monday morning on WHOP. She says Project Graduation is a way to give graduates of the four high schools in Christian County an all-night drug and alcohol-free celebration for graduating high school and it will begin at 11 p.m. May 27 at the SportsPlex.
If you’d like to help, you can donate prizes or cash or volunteer your time.
Anyone interested in volunteering can attend a planning meeting Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Christian County High School media center. Cash donations can be mailed to Christian County Project Graduation, P.O. Box 291, Hopkinsville, Ky. 42241.
