Two University Heights Academy students have been chosen for statewide programs this summer.
Chaney Guffey has been accepted to the Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs. GSE is a three-week residential summer program that immerses students in a creative space and arms them with tools needed to unleash their entrepreneurial spirits for the betterment of Kentucky.
Meanwhile, Julia Burke has been accepted in the Governor’s School of the Arts for her talents in Visual Arts. Julia will participate in an intense three-week summer program in art instruction. GSA students are selected through a rigorous application process to include auditions and reviews.
