Twelve CCPS students chosen for Governor’s Scholars Program

A total of 12 Christian County Public School System students have been selected as Governor’s Scholars.

Karlee Crick of Christian County High School and eleven students from Hopkinsville High School: Jada Ashbery, Eva Blankenberger, Carolina Chaudoin, Allie Fort, Amiyah Hopkins, Bailey Kington, Keyarie Metcalf, Rahkel Mills, Lauren Montgomery, James Powell, and Shaniya Straight.

Selected as an alternate to the program was Addison Piatt, from Christian County High School.

The students began the application process in the fall of their junior year and learned of their acceptance into the program in mid-April. They will attend their scheduled session this summer prior to the beginning of their senior year.
