An arrest warrant for auto theft was served Sunday by Hopkinsville against a South Carolina man.
It alleges that on December 9 of 2018, 41-year old Trakus Estes of South Carolina took $300 form a man to repair a transmission on a pickup, but instead sold it to a salvage yard.
The truck was later recovered, but had already been parted out.
Another warrant taken out by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office alleges Estes stole a utility trailer from a Pilot Rock Road property in November of 2018.
Estes was lodged in the Christian County Jail for two counts of theft.
