The city of Elkton and Elkton Police Department are gearing up for a slew of Easter events starting this weekend and the public is invited to take part and have fun.
The Elkton Egg-Stravaganza takes place on Saturday, April 2nd from noon until 3 p.m. at the Milliken Memorial Community House and Organizer Megan Willenborg says there will be music, free kids’ activities and more to enjoy that day.
Following that, April 4 starts the daily Easter Egg Hunts, with Willenborg saying they’ll be hiding eggs throughout the city of Elkton that could contain anything from candy to a variety of prizes.
Everything concludes on Saturday, April 9 where there will be an egg hunt throughout Elkton and Willenborg says they’ll be selling raffle tickets for a chance to pie a law enforcement officer and all money raised makes its way back to the community.
That egg hunt is set to begin at 9 a.m., but Willenborg says that is dependent on the weather, so keep an eye out for further information. All events are free to take part in and no registration is needed.
