Two regional universities remain alive in the NCAA Tournament as play continues today. Both are playing in Indianapolis as Murray State meets Saint Peter’s in the East Region round of 32. The 31-2 Racers have never advanced past the second round and are 0-4 in those contests. Tipoff is set for 6:45 this evening.
The University of Tennessee will face Michigan in the South Region in Indianapolis. The Volunteers are 27-7 while the Wolverines stand at 18-14. It will be the third time since 2011 the teams have met in the NCAA tournament with Michigan winning both prior meetings in 2011 and 2014. Tipoff is set for 4:15.
