A woman was seriously injured in a single vehicle accident just before noon Thursday on KY 181 south of Elkton.
Todd County Sheriff Tracy White says 24-year old Brittney Bolduc of Elkton had been southbound about a half-mile south of South Todd Elementary School when she exited the left side of the road and struck a utility pole.
Power lines came down on her car and Bolduc had to be extricated.
Bolduc was taken by EMS to Tennova Health Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The crash caused a large power outage in south Todd County.
