An investigation by Hopkinsville police has led to the arrest of a man for allegedly searching for child pornography on his phone.
Officers arrested 32-year old Eric Ballard of Hopkinsville Saturday morning, with the report saying he owned a phone with multiple searches made on it attempting to view sexual photos of female juveniles.
Police say Ballard began quickly deleting messages and screenshots on another phone while officers were investigating in an alleged attempt to remove evidence.
Ballard is charged with possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and tampering with evidence.
