Todd County honors legacy of MLK

It was hosted virtually due to the weather, but the Todd County Lay and Ministers Alliance honored the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Sunday afternoon with a service featuring local singers, musicians and ministers.

Rev. Sherry Perry of the Christian Church of Elkton was the keynote speaker and says Dr. King’s dream gave us a picture of what the world could be like if people learned to love one another.

She says adults should come to one another with the spirit of a child to make their communities and the world a better place.

Raelyn Fuller won the coloring contest at North Todd Elementary School and Jaleeah Glass at South Todd Elementary.
