Ky. adds 2,913 COVID cases, 17 related deaths

The positivity rate in Kentucky once again stayed fairly flat, as the state gained 2,913 COVID-19 cases from Tuesday to Wednesday.

There were also 17 newly reported deaths, putting the overall total at 11,693—there are currently 1,249 individuals in the hospital with COVID-19, 327 in the ICU and 179 on a ventilator.  The positivity rate is at 8.77 percent.

On the state incidence rate map, Christian, Todd and Trigg Counties are now listed as ‘red’, along with the majority of western Kentucky. ,
