Crofton to reopen to in-person instruction Thursday

Power has been restored to Crofton Elementary School and that building will reopen Thursday.

A news release quotes Christian County Assistant Superintendent of Operations Josh Hunt as saying, “I am thankful to all of our district staff and community partners who tirelessly worked to open our schools safely and quickly. We encourage our students and families to check our Facebook page and website for frequent updates regarding schools, sports and extracurricular schedules.”

Pembroke Elementary remains closed until January 4 to allow for repairs of damage caused by Saturday morning’s tornado.

The entire school system was closed Monday and Tuesday and days missed will not be added to the end of the school calendar.
