Fire damaged a building at Lake Barkley Lodge Saturday morning.
The Lake Barkley State Resort Park Facebook page reported the park was temporarily closed to the public.
Trigg County Judge-Executive Hollis Alexander had been briefed that the fire was in a wing of cottages and not in the main facility.
The rooms sustained significant damage, but there were no reports of injuries and cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Parks Spokesperson Danielle Jones said the park would be closed until at least December 2 and that guests were being transferred to Kenlake State Park.
Multiple Trigg County fire departments responded.
