McGraw running for Christian County judge-executive

Hopkinsville Fire Department Captain Tommy McGraw will seek the Republican nomination for Christian County Judge-Executive in 2022.

McGraw has been at HFD for 19 years and says he intends to retire in July of next year.

He says he will “fight for all of Christian County” if elected and that he has a plan for growth that starts with affordable housing.

McGraw says, “Growth cannot and will not happen without population increasing. Most us would love new retail, entertainment and restaurants to frequent without having to travel to Tennessee. This all happens with population growth.”

McGraw says he’ll be outlining more of his plans for growth during the campaign.

He faces Katie Moyer, Daniel Mason and Magistrate Jerry Gilliam in the May Republican primary, with incumbent Judge-Executive Steve Tribble the only candidate on the Democratic side.
