Ky. gains 2,114 COVID cases, 35 deaths

Kentucky added 2,114 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, along with 35 deaths.

According to the update, the positivity rate increased once again, back up above seven percent now at 7.05 percent. Christian County remained ‘red’ on the state incidence rate map, and while Trigg County stayed ‘orange’, Todd County dropped into the ‘yellow’ category.

The death toll since the pandemic began is now at 10,795—there are currently 818 individuals in the hospital with COVID-19, 204 in the ICU and 107 on a ventilator.
