Warrant served for trafficking in meth

Investigation by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals has led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man for trafficking in methamphetamine.

An arrest warrant served by Hopkinsville police Monday morning against 43-year old Lamanuel Williams of Hopkinsville says a total of six grams of methamphetamine were found in his apartment on Hugh Hunter Road in August, in addition to $1,420 in cash.

A search of Williams’ phone allegedly turned up messages consistent with drug trafficking.

U.S. Marshals searched the home and arrested his son, Lamanuel Jones, for trafficking in meth.
