Victim in Clarksville shooting dies

The victim from a shooting incident in Clarksville Sunday has died of his injuries and been identified by the Clarksville Police Department.

According to a news release, 20-year-old Costa Linsey was shot Sunday evening at a location on Greenwood Avenue in Clarksville—he died of his injuries Tuesday afternoon. The incident was part of a pair of shootings that occurred on Greenwood and Donna Drive, which are believed to be unrelated to each other.

The second shooting happened just before 7 p.m. in the 400 block of Donna Drive in Clarksville, where a 61-year-old man was shot in the back. He was also taken to Vanderbilt, where he was listed in serious condition.
